Facebook is finally stopping the Spam and Fake News

In a report, the social media Company said it was preparing the update “to reduce low-quality links” in users’ news feed.

Facebook said it took out research which revealed that a small group of users was “routinely yielding vast amounts of public posts per day,” which was definitely spamming people’s feeds.

The research showed that the same people, who did share vast amounts of public posts, were further sharing low-quality content.

As a conclusion of the research, Facebook announced it would “deprioritize” posts being shared by those accounts.

The fresh policy will only refer to links for individual Posts and areas pages, videos, photos, check-ins, or status refreshes will not be changed.

Facebook said it expected to make people’s news feed more “informative.”

It said: “By doing steps like this to improve news feed, we’re ready to cover more stories that people find information and decrease the spread of problematic links such as click bait, sensationalism, and misinformation.”

Meanwhile, Facebook is also arrived to be rolling out a new Discover tab for Messenger that order makes it easier for users to discover and engage with brands and chatbots, News reports.

The tool, that was unveiled during a Facebook discussion in April, is part of the company’s plan to make Messenger go-to communication programs between users and businesses.

The social system said it needs to make the app further like the Yellow Pages and get it easier for users to get in scent with businesses.

While users will be ready to use the Discover tab to “find the markets they care about,” this will also mean companies will also be able to pester users more easily.
