AI that invents its own language must be shutdown said by Researchers

In the recent light of the events at Facebook, the company has developed an AI that can communicate in its own language. The Company is claiming that their Software was able to invent a language all by itself and communicate to other computers as the language is not understood by the humans it has raised questions among the Researchers.

The observations started at Facebook are the advanced in a long line of similar cases. In each example, an AI being observed by humans has deviated from its training in English to inventing its own language. The resulting expressions appear to be senseless gibberish to humans but bear semantic meaning when understood by AI “agents.”

As Fast Co. Design states, Facebook’s researchers lately saw its new AI had given up on English. The cutting edge system is able to negotiate with other AI agents so it can proceed to conclusions on how to proceed. The agents began to talk using phrases that seem meaningless at first but actually represent the task at hand.

In one transfer illustrated by the company, the two communicating bots, named Bob and Alice, used their own style to complete their exchange. Bob began by saying “I can i i everything else,” to which Alice replied, “balls have zero to me to me to me…” The base of the conversation was formed from variations of these sentences.

While it seems to be an absurdity, the recurrence of phrases like “i” and “to me” reflect how the AI operates. The researchers believe it shows the two bots working out how many of each item they should take. Bob’s later comments, such as “i i can i i i everything else,” indicate how it was practicing language to offer more items to Alice. When performed like this, the expressions appear more logical than equivalent English phrases like “I’ll have three and you have everything else.”
