In early July, SEROCU’s Cyber Crime Unit charged various houses in Buckingham. The attacks ended in three arrests: a 33-year-old female, a 34-year-old guy, and a 36-year-old guy. All three were apprehended for presumed drug trafficking violations and money laundering plot.

Detective Sergeant Rob Bryant of SEROCU’s Cyber Crime Unit, the agent who led the raid, said: “Last week’s performance came after a thorough investigation into cheating and drug offences online.”

SEROCU detectives accused the three of the following crimes:

  • Conspiracy to provide a class A controlled drug;
  • Conspiracy to provide a class B controlled drug;
  • Conspiracy to launder money or the result(s) of crime.

Their Twitter story also influenced to a South East ROCU Reddit report where people posted the link in the r/darknetmarkets subreddit titled “SEROCU – Project-4 Dearm Market Arrest.”

The three purportedly sold ketamine, MDMA, and marijuana using darknet marketplaces. Investigators found these specific drugs at the charged houses. The SEROCU reporter statement said the amounts were “significant,” but did not publish a specific weight.

Bryant added, “we have caught various amounts of drugs and digital items which will presently be examined.”

“The action should be a warning to those that perform criminal acts that we will utilize our full resources to assure you are caught and stopped.”
