Microsoft claims that usage of Bing has increased significantly

Microsoft tweeted recently that it’s “bigger than you think” and presented some figures that will apparently be a shock to many. The organization insists that adequately one-third of searches in the US are powered by Bing, either direct or by Yahoo or AOL both of which provide results generated by Microsoft. Other influential markets include Taiwan, at 24 or 26 percent, and the UK, at both 23 or 25 percent depending on which tweet you read.

Globally, the organization is declaring a 9-percent market share. Google is still the winner, of course, but Microsoft’s estimates using data from comScore imply that in at least some portions of the world, Bing is big enough to take record of. The real mark of this data is, of course, advertisers; by proving that Bing is really being used by high numbers of people, Microsoft believes that it will become more appealing to those required to display their ads along alongside search results.

But further than that, perhaps these decisions will cut down on the usual reaction. So why not go for the alternative that’s more aesthetically pleasing? Every time if someone says “I use Bing”, however, the reaction is swift and consistent, “Wait, you use Bing? Nobody uses Bing! Why would you use Bing?”

We like the home page graphics and the message bar along the bottom, and We find that for the most part, the results are no worse than Google’s. If Microsoft’s numbers are to be trusted, it turns out that many people use Bing.
