Largest Torrent Search Engine – Torrentz.eu Shuts Down

Torrentz.eu one of the world’s largest torrent search engine has recently announced “farewell” to its millions of users. It is unbelievable but yeah after more than 13 years of service it has ceased operations, telling users: Torrentz will always love you. Farewell. While the homepage is still active, Torrentz has completely disabled its search functionality and has similarly removed all torrent links.

Torrentz.eu was a free meta-search engine that hosted no torrents of its own but combined results from dozens of other torrent search engine sites including The Pirate Bay, Kickass Torrents etc. With Torrentz now no longer existing, the torrent community has lost two of its largest sources in the window of less than three weeks.
