Google Pixel 2 XL’s unresponsive parts will be fixed in the next update

Users announced the issue on the Pixel User Identity, and one user posted a video that gave the screen not reacting when being tapped on the edge of the right-hand side. There was also some unresponsiveness on the left-hand side in the video.

One user further events: “I have it towards the right moderate quadrant of the phone. It appears all the time while I’m trying to scroll while holding. The screen doesn’t move just sits there. I have to tap regularly to get it to scroll.” A Google association manager responded to the interests, writing that Google has been studying and the issue will be addressed “in a future OTA update. Stay tuned.”
