Malaysian Phones Hacked: The Purpose

It’s not yet confirmed if the US is really behind this act but the purpose seems clear, that is, to sabotage the elections by restricting BN members to coordinate with one another. Many also say that this is an attempt to cause panic in the parliament.

It is also not clear yet how this hack was made possible but experts are trying to find the cause.

What Does The Prime Minister Say?

The Prime Minister has asked all the affected politicians to not answer any such calls as that may cause the situation to worsen. It should also be mentioned that several workers and high post officials also received similar phone calls and the problem is yet to be fully solved.

The Bottomline

This is a huge tech attack and has compromised the communication systems of Malaysia on a great scale. It puts the security of Malaysians at risk and concerned authorities are looking into the matter to resolve it as much as they can.
