Announcing the move via a recent post, Microsoft staff elaborated on the “Mobile Network Protection” feature rolling out in the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

According to Microsoft, this feature has become much-needed for mobile users given the severity of attacks via networks. Such threats are particularly dangerous for networks in various organizations, more specifically, in the recent work-from-home and hybrid working methods.

Besides, they also urge Android users to enable location access to let the feature work at its best. The tech giant has confirmed collecting no location data from users through this feature. In addition, Microsoft also seeks feedback from users trying this feature for further improvements.
