Windows 7 and 8.1 Users Will Quietly Download Windows 10

Microsoft Windows 7 and 8.1 users are forced to download Windows 10 on their systems. The new Windows 10 is free copy when its available. Windows 10 will download on Windows 7 and 8.1 with a upgrade notification.

Windows 10 will go live on your computer between the date you make your reservation and July 29 and Microsoft will make sure that there is no concerns of server issues or delays across the world.

Microsoft says “When you reserve, you can confirm your device is compatible with Windows 10. Between reservation and when your upgrade is ready, the files you need for the upgrade will be downloaded to your PC to make the final installation go more quickly. Then, when your upgrade is ready after July 29, 2015, you get a notification that lets you get started with your upgrade.”
