Here are a number of glitches and easy ways to make money in GTA 5:
1. Character switching
Here is one example. If you have an unpatched version of the game then character switching could work for you, though the glitch has been patched and it probably won’t work on updated games. The point is to collect the same box or briefcase of money several times over using different characters. You need to get to a location in Palmetto Bay and dive to the bottom of the ocean. You should see a treasure box next to a sunken plane. Once you have retrieved the box, switch characters and the box should respawn. One example of this below is the sunken plane briefcase.
2. Duplicating cars
There are several methods of duplicating vehicles, and this is a great way to get free cars. After the 1.16 patch this glitch still works, but you need to own two garages in the same complex. One should be full and the other needs at least one empty space. Drive a car out of the garage with the spaces and park facing it. Go on your phone and look for a mission. Drive on, and just before you pass the blue circle, accept the mission. Confirm you want to use your full garage.
Hold the next notification for maybe ten seconds. You should see the mission menu with your garage in the background. Once it flickers, quit the mission. Select a vehicle to replace. As soon as you select it, go outside and you should see it on the street. Drive it inside the full garage and replace one you don’t want, and you now have two of the car you selected.
3. Investing in the stock market
Stocks are the easiest way to make a legitimate fortune. First, you have to be aware that Lester’s assassination missions affect the stock market. Before you start a mission, invest all your characters’ money in the relevant stocks and then save. If you wait until the end of the game, or any point where you have a large amount of money to invest, then you can maximize your profits.
And after the mission, before you sell your shares, have your character fall asleep three times in a safe house to allow enough time to pass for the stocks to increase in price
