Skateboard lover’s would love to try electrical skateboards. This electrical skateboard speed can be controlled by your smart phone, since the skateboard is powered with an electric motor.
A guy called Nick made a skateboard with a kit brought from online including wheels, deck, trucks and a belt. The trucks is welded with a motor in place already. He used Turnigy SK3 192KV electric motor to move the skateboard.
Now to connect the electrical motor under skateboard and to a smartphone Nick chose to use an Arduino Nano hooked up to a Bluetooth module. The Nano was able to directly drive the motor controller, and the Bluetooth module made it easy to sync up to a mobile phone. The Android app was written using MIT’s App Inventor software. This software allows you to stop or start the skateboard.
