Compared to U.S 20% kids are more active on smartphone in Southeast Asia

These days kids found to be more active on phone. According to a survey by U.K based startup SuperAwesome shows that children ages 6 to 14 in Southeast Asia are 20 percent more active in mobile usage than U.S. kids.

About 70% of S.E.A (South East Asia) kids play games on their smartphone, compared to 56% in the U.S

About 87% of kids in S.E.A use smartphone, while comparing to U.S kids own more tablets, at 47%.

According to SuperAwesome CEO Dylan Collins added in a statement, “The under-13 audience is one of the most influential in the world yet there is very little direct data on their digital media behavior.”

‘As we have done in the U.S. and U.K., we’re pleased to bring one of the first comprehensive studies of what kids’ digital behavior actually looks like across the [Southeast Asia] region.’

‘This has been at the top of almost every agency and brand wish-list for some time and it will make for fascinating reading.”

Nearly 1,800 kids were interviewed for this report. For digital ad market for kids have a big oportunity, with estimates saying the market could grow upto $2 billion by 2018.
