Extreme guitarist star Nuno Bettencourt’s personal accounts on Tuesday – 20-September-2016 and posted private photos including nude selfies on Bettencourt’s Instagram.
The photos were posted early on Tuesday morning on Bettencourt’s Instagram account and after few hours they were removed and the account was temporarily take down.
Bettencourt wasn’t aware about the hack until someone contact him and said that his accounts were compromised by unknown hackers.
“I got woken up from a dead sleep with my door being banged on in my hotel room”, he said.
“I knew it could only be bad news, but once I was told what was happening, I couldn’t comprehend it: Basically, my accounts were compromised”, he added.
Nuno Bettencourt wrote on his Facebook wall after the hack on Tuesday that, “I want to apologize to all of you, my friends, my family, but especially my kids.”
“I am sorry to those offended by the photos, but I’m more disappointed in the photos of my children being posted.”
“From day one, I’ve kept my kids’ lives private. And I’m sad that that was violated.”
“Thank you everyone who reached out and tried to help.”
