If you’re disappointed the iPhone 7 doesn’t have a headphone jack, then better try to drill your own.
A YouTuber named “TechRax” posted a video “Secret Hack To Get Headphone Jack on the iPhone 7.” You can see it below.
At the end of the video TechRax shows how “successful” the attempt was by playing music through the phone 😛 . The music appears to be coming through the speakers rather than the headphones that he’s attached to the demolished phone, but that apparently didn’t stop some people from following his “advice” and trying to drill their own headphone jacks as well.
How much better their iPhone is now that it has the self-made jack, to outraged commenters who claim to have tried the hack and destroyed their brand new phones.
Note: Apple’s warranty doesn’t cover drilling into the bottom of the device.
A small look at TechRax’s YouTube page would likely deter many from trying the hack themselves. He’s been “Destorying technology since 2011” and making videos in which he is microwaving an iPhone 7 and tasering an iPhone 6 Plus.
