Bath Computer Server Under Data Breach

Hackers have hacked a computer server in Bath. According to police,”Many users of the server accessing their website are being redirected to unknown pages containing advertisement.”

Police have not revealed any information regarding the server and the advertisers involved in the incident.

News was released this morning in a tweet from Zephyr, a regional team fighting organised crime in the south west.

It is likely that the hack was discovered by Zephyr’s cyber crime unit.

The unit issued a warning about cyber crime last month after a Bath shopping center became the target of an online ransom demand.
