PewDiePie To Delete YouTube Account At 50 Million Subscribers

YouTube sensation Pewdiepie announced last December 2 that he will be deleting his account once it reaches 50 million subscribers. The infamous vlogger has the YouTube’s biggest channel with 49,731,715+ subscribers.

Pewdiepie or Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg created his YouTube channel way back 2010 and has then gained a massive fan base. Pewdiepie was named as Forbes top-earning YouTube celebrity, earning $12 million in 2015. Despite this, Pewdiepie announced that he will be deleting his account soon.

“It is really upsetting how [YouTube] did this change. They won’t explain what happened properly to anyone,” PewDiePie, who has just over 49 million subscribers, said in a video uploaded Friday. “It’s not just me, a lot of YouTubers are noting this.”

“I will delete my channel once Pewdiepie hits 50 million,” he said in the video. “I think it’s gonna be pretty fun, I’m excited to delete my channel and start fresh with a new sh*tty channel probably. I won’t quit YouTube, I’ll just delete the channel.”
