In recent hack, both the NES Classic Mini and its Japanese sibling the Famicon Mini have been hacked by hackers already, by installing additional games.
Now hacker named Bakueikozo has discovered something rather unexpected during his efforts – a message left in the console’s code:
This is the hanafuda captain speaking. Launching emulation in 3…2…1. Many efforts, tears and countless hours have been put into this jewel. So, please keep this place tidied up and don’t break everything! Cheers, the hanafuda captain.

This message was left in the console’s code, and hints that someone at Nintendo obviously knew that at some point the system would be hacked.
