British Teen Hacks Into CIA Officials And Steals Private Information

A UK teenager pleaded guilty in a London court on the offences of breaching into intelligence operations in Iraq and Afghanistan by posing himself as the chief of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Kane Gamble, 18, who at the time of offences was aged 15 and 16 has accepted his crimes. He targeted John Brennan, CIA chief, and James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence and Jeh Johnson, Secretary of Homeland Security. In addition to this, he also managed to target other FBI personnels such as Mark Giuliano.

Kane Gamble, a resident of Linford Crescent, pleaded guilty at the court of  Leicester Crown for eight counts of ‘performing functions with an intention to secure unauthorized access’ to computer systems and two counts of unauthorized alteration of computer material’ .

The troublesome teen carried out his cyber crime activities from his home in Coalville, central England. by posing as his victims to access highly confidential documents which concerned the US military and intelligence operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, while also getting access to contacts lists, personal information, passwords and security details.

The personal information he stole wase used by him to abuse his victims online. He was also seen bombarding them with messages and threatening to leak private information.

Gamble has claimed to be the founder of the hacking group, ‘Crackas With Attitude‘ (CWA).

The CWA always expressed their support in favour of the Palestinians and the hacks were demonstrated as a part of a campaign against the top US officials due to the support Israel gets from US politicians.

The FBI is considering this a big success as they were able to catch other members of the group as well, namely Justin Gray Liverman and Andrew Otto Boggs. Both of them have already been sentenced to 5 years in the federal prison, while Gamble is also expected to spend years behind the bars.
