WhatsApp in one of the worlds largest messaging network and it has no sign of slowing down. WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum said that “Facebook Owned Service now has 800 millions active users every month”
WhatsApp allows users to send text message and file sharing like videos, images, musics and files. The app sends message over internet. It is available almost on all mobile platform like Android, BlackBerry, Windows, iOS. The latest update on WhatsApp is voice calling feature which is similar to Skype and Viber.
Facebook acquired WhatsApp for $19Billion on 2014 October.In 2014 August WhatsApp had 600million active users and on 2015 January it had 700million active users and now 800million active users. This increase in users made WhatsApp one of the largest Social Service to connect people around the world .
