Uninstalling Facebook And Messenger In Your Android Device Will Make It Faster

Facebook could be negatively impacting both the performance and battery life of your Android device. The discussion over the official Android Facebook app slowing down smartphones has been taking place and some users have suggested that removing the app made their devices run faster than before. A Redditor who goes by the name pbrandes_eth has tested the outcome of removing both Facebook and Facebook Messenger from their smartphone and found that the phone runes 15% faster than earlier when it had these apps installed in.
The user says that he wanted to put it to the test on his LG G4, choosing to use the DiscoMark benchmarking app he downloaded from the Google Play Store. He did 15 runs and chose to reboot before each run and tested 20 apps that he used often, including Kindle, Calculator, Camera, Chrome, Gmail, Spotify, etc. After this process he came to the conclusion that phone runes 15% faster than earlier.

Also it is found by the tester  that the Facebook app not showing up as using a significant amount of power within Android’s built-in battery statistics, it was evidently consuming more power in the background than it needed to. It’s not only these apps which slows down the performance of your device, there are many applications which result in the same action by these two applications.
