Reliance Jio to provide free Internet for Jio users from September 5th to December 31st. Jio has announced to provide free voice calls and zero roaming charges for its customers and give a benefit of 1GB data for just Rs 50.
Mukesh Ambani said that, “Jio’s 4G network covers 18,000 cities and towns, and over 2 lakh villages. By March 2017, we will cover 90% of India’s population. It will be largest 4GE network today.”
Reliance has tied up with 20 smartphone brands such as Micromax, Samsung and LG to provide Jio SIM cards with them with free data usage and voice call for three months.

In future RelianceJio to bring fiber internet connection to home for selected cities and then extend it to top 100 cities. Plans are being made to fund startups to build platforms for digital businesses, targeting a Venture capital investment of Rs 5000 crore in 5 years.
