Due to the licensing of shows around the world, geoblocking can prevent you from watching your favorite shows even if you’re account is from the US.

Alternatively, there are ways in which you can access Xfinity’s WiFi for free, all you Need is a Username and Password.
It’s a little more complex than disabling your hotspot but can be done by taking the following steps…
- Download the Xfinity WiFi app before heading to the following URL: https://idm.xfinity.com/myaccount/lookup?execution=e1s1
- Click on the option that reads Forgot Username or Password
- Select whatever option necessary from the likes of a phone number, serial number etc.
- Enter the valid information it asks
- Click submit and access your Username and Password
You should then be able to log in and access Xfinity WiFi without the need to pay to be able to connect to hotspots.
