Football club Manchester United has confirmed they faced a cyber attack via a recent press release.
As disclosed, the entity experienced a ‘sophisticated’ attack on IT systems. Upon detecting the intrusion, the club quickly reacted to contain the attack.
The incident didn’t seem to have any major impact on the club’s systems. Though, as a precaution, they shut down the affected systems.
