The Advantages of a Closed Shell System/Private Network

by Unallocated Author

The idea of a closed shell system (css) or private network is actually pretty cool – regardless of whether or not the Dark Fantasy Network is legitimate. There are a million reasons explaining the advantages, but just a few of them include:

Privacy

The most obvious one is privacy. Closed Shell Systems and Private networks offer privacy that is unattainable elsewhere. For starters, there’s no worry of the government listening in on you.

Restriction

Closed Shell Systems/private networks hold restrictions. One of the best restrictions they can offer is limited access. They are usually not open to the public, and if they are, it’s usually only for a limited amount of time.

Control

If you’re operating a css/private network, you are also holding better control of the network as a whole. With that control comes power; something both terrifying and useful. In terms of usefulness, having complete control over your network gives you the ability to be flexible. You can create a “world” of your choosing, so to speak.

Security

Similar to privacy, a css/private network also offers security that you cannot possess otherwise. Private networks are not completely immune to vulnerabilities, but they are as close to immune as you can get digitally.

Community

While it’s easy to find solace in different communities and forums online, it is also impersonal. Most websites are open to the public – meaning literally anyone can become a part of the community. CSS/private networks are different in that respect.

The community is usually very small and very personal. Everybody is aware of everybody. This is extremely useful when it comes to trust and loyalty. In the end, the feeling of a brother/sister hood is more apparent in private networks thanks to tight-knit communities.

In conclusion, it would be interesting to explore the possibilities of CSS/Private Networks.
